Hey Everyone!

Just finished my Second Wood Badge weekend and my Ticket is all ready to go!  What’s a “ticket” you may ask? Well…I can’t tell you that myself, you will have to enroll in a Wood Badge course! I can’t stress enough how beneficial this course has been to me, or how much I really think that others should try it out. Yes, it is a big commitment, but in the end, it’s really worth it. At the end of the weekend there were lots of tears from various people. It was quite the emotional experience. You get to bond with people that you more than likely never met before and build strong friendships. Which is one of the main benefits of scouting in general.

And to all my Fellow Wood badgers, I’ll see you again in Gillwell Field.

Hi Everyone! So I just got back from my first weekend at Wood Badge and it was a blast! I’m now a proud Member of the Red Fox Patrol enrolled in Course N5-501-12 in Northeastern Pennsylvania Council. For anyone that doesn’t know, yes, youth in Venturing over 18 CAN take Wood Badge! It’s just another one of those awesome perks that Venturing offers. I love my experience so far, and I highly recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to take the course to do so. In my opinion, it is one of the most premier leadership training courses the world has to offer.

First thing that I would like to talk about are our goals for this year. We have some very high bars set for ourselves, and we intend to meet every one of them. The goals are as follows:
